ESPN3D works in Media Center on Xbox 360 but…
April 20th, 2011 · No Comments
The picture quality is DVD quality at best and no where close to HD. This is because ESPN3D uses the “standard” for 720p 3D, splitting the 720 horizontal lines (360 lines for the left eye and 360 lines for the right eye) to broadcast in the same space as their HD image. It’s basically a [...]

The 7MC PC internal 1.5TB Seagate HDD allocated only for Recorded TV is almost full, so I figured it’s now time to use my WHS 8.25TB of storage for, and commercial removing / .dvr-ms editing software on, recordings I plan on keeping for a long time like my family’s favorite movies, which are all of [...]

And it is awesome! As I posted on TGB, the OSFRLoader tool, the EngadgetHD “How to install…” guide, and John’s post here was pretty much all I needed. Channels change almost instantanously and the picture quality is great. I’ve already got 10+ HD movies scheduled to record!

July 14th, 2009 · No Comments

I am a little nervous something isn’t set up correctly. In Media Center, when configuring the TV signal, it did not auto discover/setup the DCTs. I had to do [...]
